Since 1998 Venta del Barón, under the Priego de Córdoba Protected Designation of Origin, has received more than 60 awards from 8 different countries, including the one awarded by the International Olive Oil Council as the best oil in the world. And that of the Ministry of Agriculture which positions Venta del Barón as the best Extra Virgin olive oil in Spain. It is ranked No. 1 in the World’s Best Olive Oils.
It is used by Martín Berasategui to prepare his dishes. It is also used in important hotels such as the Waldorf Astoria and restaurants such as Alain Ducasse, both located in New York City.
The perfect aromatiser
Its tasting notes lead us to an intense fruity of green olive with herbaceous notes, mint, almond shell, banana and apple. Reminiscent of vegetables such as tomato and artichoke. The entry in the mouth is sweet, slightly bitter and spicy in progression. The aftertaste is almondy. Very complex, balanced and harmonious in all its olfactory and gustatory attributes.
